He received the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon with three bronze stars; the Good Conduct Ribbon; and the Air Medal with three oak leaf clusters.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hobe Sound, and a former Mason.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 10-11a March 15, at Forest Hills Young & Prill Chapel, Stuart, with a funeral service at 11a. Entombment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, with military honors provided by the Air Force.
