Raymond J. Gault Sr., 78, of Tarentum, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh, surrounded by his entire family. He was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Ross Township, a son of the late Raymond John Gault and Lavina Gault, and lived most of his life in the Tarentum/Brackenridge area.

He was a supervisor for Comcast Cable for 30 years and was a Korean War veteran, serving in the Army, Company C 34th Infantry Regiment. He was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Brackenridge American Legion Post 226. He enjoyed his camp in Sigel, Pa.

Survivors include his sons, Raymond J. (Elizabeth) Gault Jr., of Natrona Heights, and Randy A. (Heather) Gault, of Natrona Heights; grandchildren, Justin, Carmen, Namie, Lauren, Ryan, Tyler and Codi Gault; and a brother, Thomas (Dorothy) Gault, of Georgia.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. (Kolodgey) Gault, April 11, 2009; a daughter, Lori Frain; and a sister, Ruth Pauley.

Relatives and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME, Tarentum.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Robert B. Walker, pastor of First Baptist Church, Tarentum, in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, with full military honors by Brackenridge American Legion Post 226.
