Ted E. Boswell, 65, of Okay, died Wednesday, November 1, 1972, in the Muskogee General Hospital. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the United Pentecostal Church in Muskogee, with Reverend Bill Shirel officiating. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Bradley Funeral Home.
Pallbearers included Don Younger, Forest Daniels, Elmer Perry, Bill Honeycutt, O. M. Kelley, and Jim Davis.
Born October 9, 1907, in Welling, Oklahoma, Boswell was a resident of Wagoner County for 33 years. He was the proprietor of Boswell Used Cars.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille of the home; five daughters, Charlotte Cotner of Muskogee, Sandra, Norma, Connie and Vonda, all of the home; three sons, Rufus of Muskogee, Ronnie and Teddie both of the home; his mother Minerva of Muskogee; two brothers, Jay and Ollie, both of Muskogee; two sisters, Alice Davis and Elizabeth Goad, both of Muskogee, and two grandsons.
