John was in the residential moving industry for many years before starting his own company ten years ago. John was active member of Tallahassee Moose Lodge 1075. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed cooking he was well known for his delicious "Ribs" He loved all outdoors, fishing was his favorite of all.
He is srvived by his wife Connie L. Bowden of Havana, three sons John Bowden, Jr.; Robert Blackman; Jr. and Tracy Blackman Two daughters Sherri Bowden and Kimberly Simpson. Two sisters Willma Snook and Judy Carter and his brother Jim Bowden all of Bellview, FL.
