Cross Anchor, SC - Mrs. Lola Wilson Moore died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sep. 21, 1974 in B. J. Workman Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Native of Spartanburg County, SC and widow of Andrew Kenner Moore. Daughter of the late Alonzo and Lizuie Wilson and the oldest member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Three times married tot he late William Harrison Simmons and then to Grover Templeton, and Andrew Kenner Moore. Survivors included: one daughter, Mrs. Floyd Hitt; two sons, Woodrow and Brooks Simmons; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Burke, Mrs. Lois Cooper and Mrs. Gertrude Edwards; one brother, Clyde Wilson; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
