She was a daughter of the late Max O. Morrison and Maude Cromer Morrison.

She was retired from Singer Company and a former treasurer of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #5996.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence O. Free; one brother, Henry Morrison; two sisters, Elma Richey and Caroline Hawkins and a grandson, Brian Free.
