Jeanne P. Flynn
Jeanne Poole Flynn, 72, a speech therapist with Prince George's County public schools from about 1968 to 1978 died of a brain hemorrhage August 10 at Northern Virginia Doctors Hospital. She lived in Alexandria.
She was a counselor on the staff of the University of Maryland's Center for Aging from 1978 to 1981.
Mrs. Flynn was an Iowa native and former Takoma Park resident. Before moving here in 1951, she graduated from the University of Iowa and was a United Airlines reservations superviser in Chicago.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Falls Church. She had done volunteer work for the Order of Alhambra, a Catholic group.
Her first husband, Frederick T. Poole Sr. died in 1978. Survivors include her husband, Walter W. Flynn of Alexandria; two children from her first marriage, Frederick Jr., of Mill Creek, Washington and a daughter of Syracuse, New York; two stepchildren of Virginia Beach and Fredericksburg; a sister of Estherville, Iowa and six grandchildren.
