Born June 11, 1962, in Mount Airy, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Shirley Alder.
She was the wife of Karl Franklin Humphries. She graduated from Linganore High School and began working at a young age at a nursing home. She was employed with Delmarva Power and most recently with the Roof Center as an inside sales associate. She enjoyed bowling, spending time with her family and eating seafood, especially crabs.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Crystal Lynn Crews, of Stevensville; brothers Jimmy Alder, of Frederick, Ronnie Alder, of Waldorf, Terry Alder, of Fort Washington, and Steve Alder, of Woodbine; and a grandchild, Cameron Dean Crews.
Interment will be in Stevensville Cemetery.
