Olivine A. Keller, 83, of Crookston, Minnesota died Tuesday evening, March 11, 1997 after an extended illness. Olivine was born on August 8, 1913 at Gentilly, Minnesota, the daugher of Joseph and Olive (Fortier) Amiot. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Gentilly, and attended rural school District #255. Olivine also attended the Northwest School of Aggriculture in Crookston for a short time. On September 21, 1936, Olivine was united in marriage to Henry G. Keller at St. Peter's, and in 1940, the couple moved to the farm in rural Crookston, where they have lived since. She was an active member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception parish, where the couple recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary. Olivine belonged to the Lady Foresters, Homemakers, the Sacred Heart Circle and had been active in 4-H for many years. She loved quilting, crocheting, flowers and gardening, and visiting with family and friends.

Loving family members include her husband, Henry; two daughters and sons in law, Joan and Frank Huber of Seattle, Washington, and Rosalie and Everette Martin of Moorhead, Minnesota; four sons and a daughter in law, david and Joann Keller of St. Joseph, Minnesota, Ron, Richard, and Keith Keller all of Crookston; a sister in law, Jeannette Amiot of Crookston; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Olivine was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Carol Martin; two brothers and sister in law, Arthur Amiot, and Theodore (Ted) and Dora Amiot; a sister and two brothers in law Delia and George Donahue and Leo Keller.
