Henry P. Manz, 40, of Howards Grove, died at St. Nicholas Hospital Wednesday
evening after a lingering illness.
He was born in Howards Grove on July 3, 1932, a son of Mrs. Erna Backhaus
Manz and the late Arno Manz. He was a lifelong resident of Howards Grove.
He was baptized and confirmed at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Sheboygan,
and graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1950.
Mr. Manz was employed at Anglo American Cannery, Sheboygan Falls, until
illness forced his retirement.
Survivors are his mother: a sister, Mrs. Gordon Kueter, and a brother, Willis,
both of the Howards Grove area.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ebenezer UCC. The Rev. Ruben
Grossheusch, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in the Schleswig Cemetery
at Rockville.
Friends may call at the Walter H. Arens Funeral Home, Howards Grove, after 4
p.m. Friday, and at the church from noon until the time of services Saturday.
A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Manz' name for Ebenezer UCC.
