RUTH E. KENT

Ruth E. Kent, 74, of 414 Smith St., Plymouth, died at her home Sunday evening after suffering an apparent heart attack.
The former Ruth E. Titel was born April 30, 1907, in the Town of Greenbush, daughter of Frederick and Louisa Graf Titel.
She attended Fond du Lac schools, graduating from Fond du Lac High School in 1926.
On Feb. 12, 1927, she married Otto R. Kent. The couple lived in the Fond du Lac area until 1936, when they moved to the Town of Rhine, where they farmed until 1957. Mr. Kent died Aug. 28, 1957. She moved to Plymouth in 1961.
Mrs. Kent was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Plymouth.
Survivors are five sons, Kenneth C. of Petersburg, Va.; Dean G. of Two Rivers, Verne F. of Fond du Lac, Claude R. of Plymouth and Russell W. of Glenbuelah; a daughter, Mrs. Gay (Laurraine) Baganz of Wausau; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Maynard Mehre of Plymouth, Mrs. Arthur Haddy of Mayville, Mrs. Harry Mohler of Omro and Mrs. Carl Fried of Bensenville, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Salem UCC. The Rev. Lowell Ferguson and the Rev. Edmond Henning, pastors, will officiate. Burial will be in Rockville Cemetery, Town of Schleswig.
Friends may call at Wittkopp Funeral Home, Plymouth, from 3 p.m. Wednesday until 9 a.m. Thursday and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
A memorial fund has been etablished (sic) in Mrs. Kent's name for Salem UCC.
