Funeral services for Mrs. Opal E. Walker, 79, of the Highland Mountain Community were conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 26 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with burial in Carter-Bilbrey Cemetery, Livingston, TN.
Mrs. Walker died January 24, 2003 at her home. She was born April 29, 1923 in Overton County to the late Vaudie Hammock. She was a housewife.
She was a member of Highland Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Coleman Walker of Livingston; 4 sons & daughters-in-law, Roger & Rita, Larry & Jennifer, Billy & Yvette, & Gary & Helen Walker, all of Livingston; daughter, Stella Brown of Livingston; and grandchildren, Steven Walker, Amy Sells, Brittany Walker, Dustin Walker, Derek Walker, Devin Walker, Heather Geesling, Kyle Walker, & Lucas Walker.
Pallbearers were sons & grandsons.
