Mrs. Florence Waller
Services for Mrs. Florence Waller, 81 year old pioneer of Gotebo, will be Sunday at 11 am in the Odessa Baptist Church, North of Gotebo. Mrs. Waller died at 11:45 am Friday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Norman Baker, 933 SW 26.
Mrs. Waller came to Oklahoma in 1898 from Texas where she was born. She and her husband, W. S. Waller, settle near Gotebo on a farm in the Odessa community area. He died in 1937.
After the death of her husband, Mrs. Waller came to Oklahoma City where she has lived with her daughter.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Baker, Mrs. Henry Fields, Chickasha; four sons, Archie Waller, 2213 SW 31, Robert, Sulphur; Lindsay, Spencer; and Willie 243 SE 43. Thrity grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren also survive.
Hunter funeral home is in charge of local arrangements.
