Margaret Lee Isham Samples, 85, of Greenville passed away August 20, 2012 at Greenville Health and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at Coker- Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Brian Padelford officiating.
Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Born November 29, 1926, in Campbell, Margaret was the daughter of Willie Valentine Isham and Birdie (Stevens) Isham. On August 17, 1946, in Peniel, Texas, she married Luther Jesse Samples. She was a homemaker and was a member of Dixon Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her husband; sons Montie, Donnie, and Ronnie Samples; daughters Shirley Demar, Sheila Haynes, and Connie Porter; brothers Buddy, Jackie, and Ivan Isham; sisters Judy Langford and Lillie Sandlin; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; mother 1983 ; father 1992; son Michael D. Samples 1970; sister Janice White 1995; brothers Everett Mar. 2010 and Bobby Isham Sept 2010; and granddaughter Dionna Crossland.
Pallbearers will be Troy Dale Haynes, Tony Haynes, Tray Haynes, Joshua Porter, Colton Crossland, and Trent Crossland.
