Charles J. Steinmetz Sr., 62, of 908 Wagner Ave., died Friday at St. Joseph Infirmary. He had been an employee at Insurance Field Co. for 35 years and was a member of St. Joseph Orphan's Society. Survivors include his wife, the former Mary Seadler; a daughter, Miss Marilyn A. Steinmetz; a son, Charles J. Steinmetz Jr., and a grandchild. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., with burial in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation at Russman & Son Funeral Home, 1041 Goss Ave., will be after 5 p.m. Saturday. The family requests that any expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kosair Crippled Children Hospital.
