COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY - 11/15/1957
Mrs. Emma Brannon Wirth, 84, died at 7:15 p.m. yesterday at her home, 1226 Goss. She was a native of Cannelton, Ind., and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church here. Survivors include two sons, Clinton M. and Charles H. Wirth; six daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Nichols, Mrs. Clarence Adrio, Mrs. John Knorpp, Mrs. Edward Knorpp, Mrs. William Sengelaub, Jr. and Mrs. Clayton Johnson; a sister, Mrs. Matt Schlaug; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Russman & Son Funeral Home, 1041 Goss, and at 9 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery.

Wirth, and Mr. Charles H. Wirth; loving sister of Mrs. Matt (Mayme) Schlaug; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Wirth will be conducted Monday morning at 8:30, in the chapel of the Godfrey F. Russman and Son Funeral Home, 1041 Goss Ave., and 9 o'clock in St. Elizabeth Church. Interment, St. Louis Cemetery.
