Ella V., daughter of David and Mary (Acker) Weaver, was born April 21, 1893, and passed away at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg, Va., June 10, 1953, as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage; aged 66 y. 1 m. 20 d. She was a member of the Mennonite Church since girlhood, remaining faithful until death. On Sept. 8, 1915, she was united in marriage to Emanuel J. Burkholder, who survives her. Also surviving are one son (Austin B., Harrisonburg, Va.), one daughter (Edith-Mrs. John S. Showalter, Harrisonburg, Va.), 2 grandchildren, 3 sisters (Annie-Mrs. Charles Kolb, Spring City, Pa.; Margaret-Charles Kolb, Spring City, Pa.; Margaret-Mrs. Titus Moyer, Silverdale, Pa.; and Josephine-Mrs. Amos Burkholder, Harrisonburg, Va.), and 2 brothers (David N. Weaver, Waynesboro, Va.; and Jonas A. Weaver, Royersford, Pa.). Her parents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at Weaver's Mennonite Church with Oliver Keener, Daniel Lehman, and Harold Eshleman officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery near the church
