MOORCROFT, HARRY WENDELL Harry W. Moorcroft of Rossville, NB passed away November 26, 2008 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1934 at Hartfield, NB, he was a son of the late Frank and Nora (Bradley) Moorcroft. Harry loved hunting, playing cards, working in his garden and spending time with his family and friends. Harry is survived by his wife, Marie (Levesque) Moorcroft; a daughter, Cindy Poirier, Lincoln; a son, Michael Moorcroft (Maxine), Calgary, AB; a step-son, Yvon Ouellette (Ann), Grand Falls; two grandchildren, Casteel LeBlanc and Josh LeBlanc, both of Lincoln; four step-grandchildren, Eric Ouellette, Kevin Ouellette, both of Ottawa, ON, Annick Ouellette and Niko Ouellette, both of Grand Falls; three sisters, Verna McElwain (Alton), Hartfield, Eunice Clark (Fred), Campbell Settlement and Zella Barrow, Northampton; three brothers, Arwood Moorcroft (Eleanor), Pokiok, James Moorcroft (Luella), Temperance Vale and Perley Moorcroft (Cora), Dumfries; special friends, Barry and Doreen Graham, Rossville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Harry was predeceased by his first wife, Norma J. (Hatto) Moorcroft on December 14, 1997; two sisters, Helen Ames in 1995 and Matilda Bragdon in 2004 and a brother, Johnny Moorcroft in 1991. Visiting hours will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carl and Evelyn Brewer officiating. Interment will take place on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Otis Cemetery.
