POCHARDT, Vernon H., of Barrett,
MN, died March 2, 2008. He was 85.
He served with the 91st BG, 324th BS
during WWII. He was shot down over
Germany and held 18 months until liberation.
Survivors include his wife Mae, 2 sons, 4 daughters, 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Vernon H. Pochardt, age 85, of Barrett, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at his home in Rolling Hills Residence, Barrett.

Funeral services for Vernon H. Pochardt will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Hoffman with Rev. Donald Wagner officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Hoffman. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Hoffman, and at the church one hour before services on Friday.

Arrangements are with the Erickson-Smith Funeral Home in Hoffman.
