Mrs. Mary Jane Hanson, 84 years old, died Tuesday morning at the family home in Bloomburg. She was the wife of Rev. J. H. Hanson, veteran Baptist preacher of this country. Mrs. Hanson was a fine Christian woman and had been a citizen of Cass County for forty years.
Funeral services held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Baptist church in Bloomburg, conducted by Rev. J. P. Olive, W. R. Grogan and C. L. Porter. Interment in Salem cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service, Atlanta.
She is survived by her husband, 3 sons, J. J. Hanson, Bloomburg; Robert Hanson, Ida, La; W. C. Hanson, Palestine; and four daughters, Mrs. J. D. Hemperly, Gilliam, La., Mrs. Alice Kellum, Cleveland, Texas; Mrs. R. H. Thompson, Mrs. L. C. Stephens both of Bloomburg.
