HIGH POINT - Miss Iris Arlene Frazier, 89, died Friday, February 29, 2008 at the GrayBrier Nursing and Retirement Center. A native and lifelong resident of Randolph County, she was born February 7, 1919 a daughter of John Wesley and Carrie Brown Frazier. Iris was formerly employed with Influential Hosiery and a devoted member of Prospect United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Victory Sunday School class, a member of the United Methodist Women, and sung in the church Choir.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, nieces: Debbie Frazier and her mother Frances of Trinity, Dian Edminsten and her husband Baker of Boone, nephew, Dean Frazier and his wife Betty of LaDera Ranch, CA, great nephew; Michael Harrison and his mother Essie of Trinity, and several other great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the Prospect United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Weisner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives 2:00 PM Sunday at the church. Memorials may be directed to Prospect United Methodist Church, 5553 Prospect Street, Archdale, NC 27263.
