Claudia Ann Ward passed this life on Thursday, March 4 in Muskogee at the young age of 55. She was received into this world on Sept. 13, 1954 to James and Harriett (Eldridge) Farren in Westerly, R. I. Claudia attended Stoneington High School where she received her high school diploma in 1972. She married her husband, Ricky, 11 years later on Oct. 31, 1981 on Shepard of the Sea and they just celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. Claudia was a Certified Nurse Aide and worked for Meadow Brook Nursing home in Chouteau until her health failed her. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Harriett Farren. She is survived by her husband, Rick Ward, of the home; one son, Christopher Ward, and wife, Samantha, of Chouteau; one brother, Robert Farren, of Chouteau, and one sister, Elaine Krupps, of Illinois, and four beautiful grand babies, Ashton, Jessica, Corey and Toby along with a host of family and friends. Funeral services for Claudia were held on Tuesday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at Lakecrest House of Prayer in Chouteau and burial followed to Fisher Cemetery with Pastor Carl Eslinger officiating. Services were under the direction of Shipman Funeral Home and Crematory, of Wagoner.
