Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 13, 1918, in Gaston County, to the late Andrew and Lucille Jones Canipe.
Her funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Pisgah United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
