Mr. Stahl was a Hamilton County native and until his retirement in 1979 was president of the Stahl Brothers Lumber company in Sheridan. He was the son of William Homer and Lucinda E. (Richardson) Stahl, born Aug. 10, 1905. He was a member of the board of directors of the American State Bank, Sheridan, and a member of the Crown View Cemetery board. He attended Sheridan Christian Church.
His wife, the former Denzel Beam, and three daughters survive. They are Mrs. Donald(Mary) Wise, Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Roger (Margaret) Pardieck, Seymour, and Mrs. Morgan (Katherine) Meissner, Eau Claire, Wis. There are nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Also surviving are two brothers, William and Russell Stahl, both of Sheridan, and two sisters, Edith McKinney, Sheridan, and Ethel Vobach, Indianapolis.
