Funeral Services Held

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, at two o'clock, from the Daunderman Funeral Home in Marine for Alfred A. McNabb, who died March 9th in a Chicago Hospital. Mr. McNabb was a former resident of Marine. He had attained the age of 52 years, nine months and 19 days. Rev. Roy Stock, of the Evangelical church, officiated and burial was made in the Marine Cemetery. Two songs, "All the Way My Savior Leads Me" and "Abide With Me," were sung by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Shepard, Mrs. Herbert Gehrs and Rev. Roy Stock. Pallbearers were Wesley Stone, Arnold Kuhn, Louis Volz, E.O. Clark, F.A. Robinson and George Pence. Mr. McNabb is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna McNabb, a son, Sgt. Manville L. McNabb of Camp Ritchie, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. H.R. Lyddon of Bethany, Mo.; three brothers, two sisters, and one grandchild.

[Note: Alfred was married twice: first to Florence Manville who died in 1920 and second to Edna Barr.]
