MOUNT ZION - Jill Watkins Chandler, 43, of Roach, Mo., formerly of Mount Zion, was called home Friday (June 6, 2003) following a long battle with cancer. She leaves behind many loved ones, who were by her side to the end.
Burial in North Fork Cemetery.
Jill was born Dec. 20, 1959, in Decatur, the daughter of Jack and Patricia Davis Watkins. She formerly served as business manager for Swartz Properties. She married Rick Chandler, her best friend and love of her life, on July 7, 1999.
Surviving are her husband; father and stepmother, Jack and Sandy Watkins of Stoutland, Mo.; son, Drew Garren of Decatur; daughter, Jessica Dugger of Decatur; stepchildren, Ricky Chandler and Jady Chandler, both of Decatur; sisters, Carol Kirkland of Decatur, Sue Boyd and husband Raymond of Cisco; brother, Chris Watkins and wife Diana of Camdenton, Mo.; grandchildren, Madyson Noell Watkins, Brandon Chandler, Ashli Chandler and Leslie Chandler; six nieces; two nephews; many other family members and friends; beloved dog, Wickett.
She was preceded in death by her mother and grandparents, with whom she is now rejoined.
