Floyd McCall, 84, Of Sun City, CA., passed away on 07/19/05 after a brief illness. A former Riverside County Supervisor, he was known to many as a fair and honorable man. He was co-founder and past president of McCrometer, Inc. in Hemet. A creative inventor, he specialized in flow measurement devices for 50 years. In addition, he served as Director of Hemet Federal Savings & Loan, President of Riverside County Farm Bureau, Chairman of Romoland School Board, Trustee of University of Redlands, and member of Rotary International, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and China Marine Association. He graduated from Perris Union High School and attended Fullerton College and Taft College. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II as a navigator on airplanes and later earned his private pilot's license. McCall Boulevard in Sun City is named after him. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Josephine D.S. McCall. He is survived by his four children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
