Diana (Diane) Joan Howland Sullivan was born October 18, 1938 to William Andrew Howland and Leona Stewart Howland in Colorado Springs, Co. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Franklin Sullivan of Foreman, AR., on November 26, 1954, in Colorado Springs, CO. She is survived by seven children & spouses: Shirley and Gary Paul of Denton, Joan and Bernie Martinez of Princeton, Bertie and Mike Wizansky of Marble Falls, Texas, Leona (Sue) Sullivan of McKinney, Jimmy and Angela Sullivan of New Hope, William & Kelly Sullivan of McKinney, Teresa and Jason West of Princeton and one special daughter, Alice Lewis and son of Lewisville. She has 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren with one on the way and one god granddaughter. She is also survived by her mother Leona Stewart Howland of Colorado Springs, sister: Wilma and Bill Strachan of Colorado Springs, brothers Robert (Bob) and Leoma Howland of Colorado Springs, Clinton and Norma Howland of Manitou Springs, sisters-in-laws, Joetta and Ben Kaczor of Trenton, and Leisa Sullivan of Princeton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Franklin Sullivan, father, William Howland, brother, W. M. (Billy Jim) Howland, mother & father-in-law Craig and Lillie Mae Sullivan, brother-in-law Charles Sullivan, sister-in-law Retha Mae Sullivan and son-in-law Mark Smith. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, who was loved dearly and will truly be missed. Pallbearers will be: Joseph Martinez, Charles "Nuggett" Martinez, Dustin Parks, Chester Smith, Kevin Smith and Jordan Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Shanon Parks, CJ Sullivan, Dusty Sullivan, Shelton Sullivan, and Tyler West. A visitation will be held Tuesday February 23, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at Charles W. Smith and Sons McKinney, and graveside service will be held Wednesday February 24, 2010 11:00 A.M. at Van Winkle, Cemetery in Climax, Texas with Pastor Brad Sloan of Dunn Memorial Church officiating
