Mr. Frank Aspinall, 54 years old, died in his home in the Kent neighborhood yesterday morning at 5:30 am following an attack of Typhoid fever from which he had suffered for nine weeks. His condition became serious a few weeks ago but during the last few days he was thought to be improving. Mr. Aspinall was one of the most competent heating and plumbing contractors in this section of the state having supervised the installation of hundreds of splendid plants in this city and at the time of his death, he held a contract for one of the largest and most intricate systems ever awarded to a local person in his profession. For many years, he had been recognized as a capable plumber, and he had gained the confidence of all those having work under construction. In addition to his plumbing, he represented several oil burner companies, having installed about twenty such heating plants in this city. He was the agent for oil used in the burners, having a bulk station and trucks to conduct his business. Several weeks ago, he had ordered a large shipment of oil to be used in filling local tanks for the winter's supply and that shipment was billed to reach here yesterday. It is understood that his wife, Mrs. Ida Aspinall will take charge of the distribution of oil to those operating burners and that the tanks are to be filled as was planned by Mr. Aspinall. Mr. Aspinall was a splendid repairman for he made a thorough study of his business and he had reached a place where he was capable of repairing oil burners plants where any phase of trouble appeared. He was a man of pleasing personality. He was courteous and accommodating and his examples of fine work will stand for many years to bear evidence of his competent workmanship. Mr. Aspinal was the son of Mrs. Margaret Aspinall and the late James Aspinall and was born in Blackburn, England. Survivors included besides his widow and his mother are three daughters, Margaret Elizabeth, Florence Catherine, and Martha Frances Aspinall, all at home, two brothers, Percy Aspinall, Indianapolis, and Herbert Aspinall, England. He also has two sisters, Mrs. Charles Gregson and Mrs. Charles Perkinson in England. He became a member of the Episcopal church of England many many years ago and held a membership in the Antioch grange. He was a man of splendid qualities and he was fond of his home and work. Funeral services will be held from the residence tomorrow at 2 pm in charge of Rev. Chas. D Truesdale and interment will be made in the Hanover Cemetery.
