Barton, who was a housewife and of the Baptist faith, was preceded in death by her parents, Golden and Amanda Barton, her son, Roland Harper and her brother, Leon Barton.
She is survived by one daughter, Annette Riddle of Haleyville; four brothers, Verlie Barton of Lynn, Grady Barton of Nauvoo, Odis Barton of Lynn and J.C. Barton of Mobile; two sisters, Ruby Johnson of Lynn and Betty Trotter of Nauvoo; two grandchildren, Glenn Riddle of Haleyville and Lenny Harper of Illinois; and one great-grandchild.
