On Monday, January 25, 2010, God unexpectedly called James J. Collins home. He was 45 years of age.
Raised in Levittown, Pa., he was a longtime resident of Trenton. He graduated from Truman High School in 1982.
He was employed by Mercer Springs as a mechanic.
Jim loved music, his guitar(especially playing Led Zepplin songs), Nascar #5, and the Eagles, but his favorite thing was spending time with his family. He was an active member of Holy Angels Church in Hamilton, NJ.
Prceded in death by his parents, John and Sandra, he will be sadly missed by his stepmom, Audrey; his fiancee Donna; and his beloved children; Joseph, Page, Jessica, Tina, James, Jr., Dana and Dallas; and 4 grandchildren. He is also by his family, Joseph(Mary) with David, Sandi, Melissa and Emily, John(Cindy)with Anna, David(Laurie), Kathy(Roger), Christopher and many nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by his cat, Callie and dog, Kelly.
Calling hours will be from 5-7 p. m. Friday, January 29 at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 1310 Prospect St., Ewing Twp., Trenton, NJ.
