Jody Seay, 72, of Hayleyville died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at Brookwood Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Aug. 1, 2002, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Haleyville with burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Jerry Pounders and Wafford Bailey will officiate. Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville is directing.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and, along with her husband, was former owner of T&J Diner.
She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Dale Harrison.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Seay of Haleyville; daughter, Judy Ray of Tuscumbia; two sisters, Trudy Kelly and Doris Brakefield, both of Haleyville; brother, Bud Thrasher of Phil Campbell; five grandchildren, Joey Oliver and Cory Ray, both of Birmingham, Jason Oliver of Auburn, Tara Scott of Haleyville and Scott Ray of Muscle Shoals; and four great-grandchildren.
