Harriett Crews was the wife of William Crews and daughter of John Harriss and Cynthia Wells. She lived some time in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma and with her sister, Minerva Whitlatch Brown ran the first telephone switchboard in the small town of Saint Louis, Oklahoma.
