"Mrs. Jane Lasher Keaberley died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank A. Proctor, 33 Hartford Terrace, New Hartford, after an illness of five years.
She was born in Chadwicks November 30, 1857, daughter of the late Martha and John Schoot, her father being a veteran of the War of 1812. She was married to Eugene Lasher, who died in 1893, and in 1900 was married to George E. Keaberley, who passed away in 1929. She resided in Sauquoit Valley until five year ago, when she moved to New Hartford to reside with her daughter, who survives with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews."
