Gustavus Robert Gray, well-known resident of Poolesville, died at his home there Thursday night of a coronary condition, aged 61 years. A son of the late John and Sarah Gray, he was for many years a salesman for the Ball Band Rubber Company. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, the American Legion, Frederick Lodge, No. 684 B.P.O. Elks, and St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Poolesville.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Williams Gray; daughter, Mrs. Winfield Marshall; two sons, Gustavus Robert Gray, Jr., Silver Spring, and Dr. Harry W. Gray, now in Korea; brother, Frederick B. Gray, and a sister, Mrs. W. C. Guest.
The body was removed this afternoon from the funeral home at Barnesville to St. Peter's Episcopal church for services which were to be held at three o'clock. Interment in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. W. B. Hilton, funeral director.
