Parents were Arthur W. (aka O.W.) and Regina Gould

Enlisting in the military on June 18, 1942, Tec 5 Gould was assigned as a radio operator to Co. HQ, 17th Tank Battalion, 7th Armored Division.

Wounded by shrapnel to the chest and lungs on Dec. 19th at Recht, Belgium, He was evacuated to the 107th Evacuation Hospital, where he died of his wounds on Dec. 22, 1944.

This was the beginning of the engagement known as The Battle Of The Bulge.

Tec 5 George Gould was interred in Forest Hill Cemetery on or about July 1, 1949.
