---------
MRS. M. D. Taylor
(By E. E. Heldridge)

A dear mother has been called to her eternal rest. Last Friday morning, Mrs. M. D. Taylor answered the call of her Savior and entered into life everlasting. It was but a few days before that she was bereft of her loving husband. A few days after the funeral of her husband, she was stricken by pneumonia, the same illness that took her life partner, and in a short time submitted to the inevitable. While her passing is a great shock to the family and friends, yet it is comforting to know she is again united with her loved one after but a short interval.

Mrs. Taylor was a wonderful woman, kind, loving and gracious. During the years she lived in this community, one has heard but kindest words of her life and works. She made a home that was beautiful indeed. She was hospitality and kindness itself. She was one who loved her family and "her children rise up and call her blessed." Her life was a pattern for her children and grandchildren and they will find in her life those elements that make for greatness.

Susie Egly, daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Egly, was born May 13, 1869, and departed this life on May 9, 1935. Had she lived until the following Sunday she would have been 66 years of age. On November 4, 1896, she was united in the holy bonds of matrimony to Milton D. Taylor, at Mt. Ayr, Iowa. In 1901 she moved with her family and husband to Milford, and here she resided until taken by death. The children are Leta, now Mrs. Will Tlam, of Jeffers, Minn., and Erle, of Milford. One sister and six brothers preceded her in death, and two brothers, David Egly, of Mt. Ayr, Iowa, and Dan Egly, of Rosebury, Oregon, remain.

*Obituary is published in the Milford Mail, May 16, 1935.
