Mr. Verhoeff worked at the Salina Terminal, and was in the restaurant and rental business. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1432.
Survivors included his wife, Louise Heath; four sons, Bill Verhoeff, Dean Verhoeff, Gary Verhoeff and Jim Heath; his mother, Evalyn Parry; three sisters, Helen Nickles, Judy Dietz and Evalyn Allen; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
