Thomas Cobb, 73, passed away early this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Godby, Sheridan. He had been in poor health for the past 14 months.
Born in Boone Co, son of Francis M and Hannah Jane (Caudell) Cobb, he had been a resident of Hamilton Co most of his life, where he was a farmer. He married Flora Hand in 1901, who preceded him in death in 1952. For the past two years Mr. Cobb had made his home with his daughters.
He is survived by the following children, Mrs. Ralph Bouse, R.3. Sheridan, Mrs. Elmere Mellette, Atlanta R.R., Mrs. Richard Godby, Sheridan, Mrs. Kenneth Lindenmayer, Tipton; one sister, Mrs. Emma Lemon, Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
