CONE, DANIEL BRANCH, 64, of Treasure Island, died Thursday (Feb. 6, 2003) at home under hospice care. Born in White Springs, he came here in 1987 from Arlington, Va. He was a retired Marine Corps colonel and a Vietnam War veteran. He owned S&R Blue Printing in St. Petersburg. He was Methodist. He was a member of the Treasure Island Tennis and Yacht Club, American Legion 158 in Treasure Island, the Retired Officers Association and the Marine Corps Association. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Patricia; two sons, Daniel, Auburndale, and Patrick, Treasure Island; a daughter, Candice Lynn Harvey, Ashburn, Va.; his mother, Ruth Cone, Seminole; a brother, John R. III, St. Petersburg; two sisters, Patricia Jane Lucas, Gaithersburg, Md., and Jacalyn Cuttrell, Chapel Hill, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.
