Henry Johnson whose home was at 673 Victor street, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Perry, of Tacoma, Washington, April 1, at the age of 78 years. The remains will be brought to Winnipeg on Monday morning, and the interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, Tuesday afternoon, the cortege leaving Thomson's funeral home, Broadway at 8 o'clock. The deceased was predeceased by his wife four years. Surviving him are eight sons: G. R., Tacoma, Washington; William, Isaac and Alexander, of Edmonton; Jack of Saskatoon; Henry A., Winnipeg; David, recently returned from active service; and James, still overseas; also four daughters: Mrs. Perry of Tacoma; Mrs. W. H. McCallum, Mrs. W. T. Evans and Mrs. J. W. Thirty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren are also among his surviving descendants.
