2nd Lt. Air Corp WWII - died in defense of his country.

Lt. Middlebrook was the co-pilot of a crew headed by J T Lakey of Tyler, Texas. Their aircraft was last seen near Taihoku in western Formosa while flying as part of a three plane sweep of railroad targets in that area. No trace of the plane was found in a search.
