Mrs. Elenore Allen, Aged 90 Years Passes Away This Morning

One of Wapello county's oldest residents, Mrs. Elenore Allen, 621 East Main street died this morning at 12:05 as the result of old age, she having reached the age of 90 years. Mts. Allen was born in Franklyn county, Ind., and came here in 1858 since which time she has made her residence in this city.
Surviving her are ten children, Soloman of Washington, Ia., W. J. Allen of Jacksonville, Fla., E. T. Allen of Agency, Ia. D. E. Allen of Omaha, Neb., W. O. Allen of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Mollie Huddelson of Greenfield, Ind., Mrs. Mathilda Kinney of Rushville, Ind., Mrs. Julia Sedgerly of Geneseo, Ill., and Miss Lorretta and C. F. Allen of this city.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the Methodist church of Agency, Rev. Pool officiating. The funeral cortege will proceed to the depot, from where the body will be carried to Agency on the 11:20 train. Interment will be made in the Agency cemetery. Arrangement have been made to return on the train arriving here at 4:33 o'clock.
