She was an accomplished artist and realtor who always put caring for her family at the top of her activities. She had resided in The Woodlands to be near her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky Sue Mather and husband, Greg of The Woodlands; her son, Earl Wayne Blackburn and wife, Barbara of Houston; sister and brother-in-law Judy Mae and Leo Carlton Carr; four grandchildren and spouses, Melinda and Doug Adams, John and Kim Blackburn, Kathy Blackburn-Thames and her husband Adam, David and Jackie Blackburn; eight great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Calah, Krystal, Kaylene, Bailey, Madison, Courtney and Jessica; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Reuben W. Blackburn; grandson, Troy Michael Hamilton; and brother Ernest Sanford Warren Jr.
Internment: Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, Texas.
