Both were born around 1820(per 1850 census).They were residents of Russell Co. W. D. Horne was married to Elizabeth Porter Horne(1830-1910). They were married in 1860. Elizabeth is buried next to W. D.. Grigsby Cemetary was located in 1996 and the interments verified(8)(also in march of 2010). The cemetery is located along Rt. 65 in Russell Co.,between Castlewood and the Russell/Scott Co. line. It is located across Rt.65 and southeast of the old ADD Co. Food Market, which is now a private two story residence. Wm. Drake Horne is the great grandson of Jesse Horne and Susan Milton. W.D.'s cause of death was pneumonia.
