Frederick served as a Sergeant on B-25D #43-4204, 490th Bomber Squadron, 341st Bomber Group, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in the District Of Columbia prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on January 8, 1942 in Washington, D.C. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed as a Sales Clerk and also as Single, without dependents.

Frederick was "Killed In Action" during the war and was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

He was originally interred in Barrakpore, India and was later repatriated here on March 16, 1950.
