WASHINGTON, D.C. - Funeral services for Lt. Commander Edwin D. Scorza, 32-year-old Long Island, N.Y., naval officer, will be at Fort Myer chapel in Arlington Cemetery at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Commander Scorza is survived by his wife, the former Jacqueline Rundquist, of Fairfield, Ia., and two children, C..., 9, and E..., 5.
The naval officer was killed Nov. 10 when his navy Corsair crashed in a marsh on Brigantine Island, 12 miles from the Atlantic City, N.J., naval air station. He was on a simulated strafing mission and the plane failed to pull out of a low level dive and exploded.
