Arthur Aaron Clements, 84, of Rocky Mount, Va., died Wednesday, March 3, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Clements, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Audrey (Charles) Dudley, Moneta, Va.; one son and daughter-in-law, John Arthur (Ann) Clements, Rocky Mount, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Rubie Meadows, Mrs. Ethel Cooper and Mrs. Lucille Holland, all of Rocky Mount, Va.; one brother, Joe (Helen) Clements, Roanoke, Va.; sister-in-law, Evelyn Clements, Roanoke, Va.; five grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 8, 2010, at noon at the Morningside Missionary Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, with the Rev. Kirby Whitfield Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the funeral. Interment in the Clements Family Cemetery. Arrangements by Stanfield Mortuary Service, Rocky Mount, Va., 540-483-2902.
