She was a native of Shipman community (George County), and a retired tower observer with the U.S. Forestry Service. She died April 15 in a Mobile hospital following a long illness.
She is survived by two sons, Gabriel I. Boothe and David Boothe, both of Citronelle; two daughters, Rebecca Tressler of Wichitaw Falls, Tex., and Amelia Ann Brown of Panama City, Fla.; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are one sister, Gracie Lee and a brother, William Alfred Davis, Jr., both of Agricola.
Interment was in Lambert Cemetery in Citronelle.
