Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Mar. 2, at Stewart Funeral Chapel in Hollis with Rev. Gwen Dill officiating. Interment followed in the McKnight Cemetery in Harmon County.
Jo Dill was born Oct. 29, 1931, to James Calvin and Eva Mable Dill on the Herd Farm in Bryon County near Bennington.
She married Raymond A. Hays on Dec. 21, 1951 at McQueen, AR. She worked as a LPN/LVN for thirty years before her retirement.
Survivors include: two daughters, Brenda Cornett and her husband Lindel and Glenda Cornett and her husband Randy all of Hollis; one son, Bradley Hays; one daughter-in-law, Vickie Hays of Hollis; nine grandchildren, Travis Hays of Elk City, A. J. Hays of Los Angeles, CA, Danny Jarra of Russelville, AR, Troy Hays of Hollis, Shara Leathers and Kylie Cofield of Altus, Kelly Wiley of Hollis, Chipper McLaughlin and Cody McLaughlin of Borger, TX; 16 great grandchildren; four sisters, Clem Barker of Bowie, TX, Clara Hammonds, of Andrews, TX, Odessa Eastwood of Boswell, and Clovis Bacon of Boswell; two brothers, Gwen Dill of Boswell and Sunny Dill of Boswell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hays; one son, Douglas Hays; one daughter, Beverly McLaughlin; one grandchild, Farrah Watson; her parents, Eva Mable and James Calvin Dill; and five brothers, James Jr., J.B., Dewy, Calvin, and Waymon Dill.
